About us

Greencycle’s agile team bring a wide range of experience across waste and renewables project delivery. We really enjoy creating innovative solutions in order to develop projects that are technically and commercially viable.

Our Team

Oliver 

Oliver is a highly experienced project manager and engineer with over twenty years in the renewable energy sector. He founded Greencycle Systems in 2009 and holds an MA in Engineering, Economics, and Management.

 

Oliver has designed and project managed numerous Anaerobic Digestion plants across the UK. Notable projects include Apsley Farms, a 15MW gas-to-grid AD plant in Hampshire, where he has served as project engineer for over 10 years through design, build, and ongoing development. Beyond project delivery, Oliver has assisted many AD plants—both waste and crop-based—with business options modelling as well as operational and financial due diligence. His expertise spans AD plant design and management, CHP installations, biomethane facilities, biogenic food-grade CO2 production, control systems, financial planning, and project management.

 

When not at work, Oliver enjoys racing on his boat, the 'Dogcockle'.

Angus 

Angus is an experienced project manager and Engineer with over ten years' experience across aerospace, renewable energy, and consumer products. He is a chartered mechanical engineer and holds an MBA from Henley Business School.

 

Angus combines detailed technical design capability with project leadership, with expertise encompassing plant design, project engineering, tender management, value engineering, and technical execution. He brings pragmatic problem-solving to project delivery, successfully navigating complex challenges through experience and technical rigour. Since joining Greencycle Systems, Angus has delivered projects across digestate value extraction, new AD development, biomethane plant expansions, and business options modelling.

In his spare time, Angus enjoys camping, mountain biking, and sailing.
